My name is Brendan Doran.

This is my fifth year teaching at Hans- Christian- Andersen- Volkschule. I am the father of one son and I’m also an active composer and musician. I like all types of sports, music and I love to travel and learn about different cultures. I love teaching children how to use English correctly, but in a playful way. My main goal is to make children feel comfortable in the classroom environment while also allowing each child the time and space to express themselves in English.

My Name is Sally Johnson.

I’m from London and I have two teenage children.

I’ve been teaching English for the last six years and before that I was a Museum Educator, working in

different countries. 

I like to bring music into the English lessons, as well as rhymes and chants for the younger children, and have a lively listening and speaking environment in the classroom. 

I am also covering topics from the other subjects in English, such as science, so that the students are understanding and using English and at the same time broadening their general knowledge. 

I look forward to getting to know your children and discovering their interests and talents over the coming year.
